Is there a rating above excellent?

First I will apologize for the long review but I already left out so much.

Took my 16 year old son down to Boca and had 3 days chartered with Capt. Chris. Went out 6/27/2017 and started with Tarpon. Got in a group just near the beach but they were being shadowed by a Hammerhead. Capt. Chris made a move to another area and we hooked up. My sons first Tarpon! Just seeing his face light up made the trip. Another boat in the area even took a picture and texted it to Capt. Chris. We could have stopped there and I would have been happy.

Next was giant Snook. Capt. Chris worked hard to net Mullet. We each caught multiple fish. It was out of season so the fish were returned to the water. I could tell by watching how they were returned to the water just how much Capt. Chris cares about this resource.

I have been out of Boca with another guide and the difference was night and day. Capt. Chris not only wants his customers to be successful, but he is patient and will talk you through the entire process as it happens. No one can guarantee fish, but if you want a guide that will bust his backside to see that you have a good time and are successful, look no farther. Just an awesome time out with Capt. Chris and my son.

Unfortunately my son got sick late that first night and we had to return home early. I texted Capt. Chis around 11:30 – 12:00 that night to let him know what was going on. We had to skip the other 2 trips. Disappointing for me..yes, but Chris totally understood.

I already started discussing returning and doing it all over again with Capt. Chris. I wouldn’t go with any other guide. After going with Chris, I don’t think anyone else could match what we experienced both with the fishing and him as a person.
